Job Title Supervisor

Department Security
Position Description
  • Work with Colleagues and Guests
  • Maintain effective professional relationships with Guests and Team Members
  • Provide assistance to enhance the performance of other Department members
  • Work with the Managers to monitor, supervise and assist Team Leaders and Security Officers in the performance of all duties to ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective Security Service
  • Effectively prioritize requests for services and delegate tasks when appropriate
  • Maintain Security of Property and Team Members
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for Team Members and Guests
  • Evaluate and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and/or operation of the Security Department
  • Observe and monitor all persons and property to maintain security and safety
  • Perform and supervise roving and static security functions at assigned posts and areas
  • Attend and handle all security incidents in a professional and discreet manner
  • Respond to all emergencies and alarms
  • Respond to emergency first aid incidents and give first aid to Guests and Team Members.
  • Escort, or carry, valuables as assigned or directed (transportation of chips/cash/documentation)
  • Assist in the investigation of incidents and complaints when required.
  • Deal with Conflict Situations
  • Deal with conflict situations in an appropriate manner
  • Apprehend offenders when required in accordance with legal requirements
  • Deal with the management of intoxicated persons in an appropriate manner
  • Review and implement security guidelines on the notification, handling and resolution of situations involving threatening behavior
  • Security Reporting
  • Ensure all faulty and damaged equipment and property is reported immediately
  • Ensure all reports and documents are completed efficiently and promptly
  • Ensure all lost and found property incidents are handled in accordance with procedures
  • Assist the Managers to complete other reports and documentation as required
  • Training and Personal Development
  • Participate in training programs
  • Keep up-to-date with Department and Company Policies and Procedures
  • Actively participate in own regular Performance Improvement Reviews and Performance Reviews of Team Leader and Security Officers
  • Assist and coach Team Leader and Security Officers
  • Assist in disciplinary action of Team Leader and Security Officers
  • Assist in the recruitment of appropriately qualified team members
  • Administrative Services
  • Assist with Team Member induction for Security Officers when required.
  • Complete Security team members’ time sheets, rosters, accidents and incident forms
  • Ensure all Security equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
  • Other Duties as Directed
  • Perform all duties as directed by the Director of Security or the delegated authority
Position Requirements
  • High School Graduate preferred
  • 3 to 4 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in casino security or police military experience
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Positive attitude
  • Security awareness 
  • Customer service 
  • Good in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Basic computer skills is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment
  • Physically fit. Able to bend from the waist, crouch, stretch, kneel, climb, twist and crawl without restrictions. Stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Have team leadership experience and shown supervisory / leadership ability
